North Walsham Rifle and Pistol Club are back!
We are proud to announce that on the 22nd of August our new clubhouse was officially opened.
This new clubhouse is the first in a list of developments that we are planning over the coming years and marks the start of an exciting new phase in the clubs journey.
It is a fantastic addition to our site and serves to significantly update the existing facilities as well as update the attached range and firing points to allow for 3Position shooting.
The cutting of the ribbon was performed by Freya Giles and Lisa Hill (standing in for Olivia Hill who was competing in Serbia). Freya and Olivia are two of our highly valued and high achieving members who not only count NWRPC as their home club, but also have reached the impressive heights of representing England in their shooting disciplines. (More on their achievements to come later!)
We were also honoured by the attendance of North Norfolk MP, Norman Lamb who presented both Freya and Lisa with bouquets after the ceremony.
A special mention must also go out to North Norfolk Councillor Saul Penfold, Sport England, and the Big Society Fund for all their help, and support, and finally a thank you to our ever enthusiastic Development Officer, Mike Kirkham, without whom, we would never have dreamed so big or achieved so much. (And also huge thank you’s to all of the club members who’ve contributed in various ways, you are not forgotten!)
Come and see the new clubhouse for yourself! New prospective members are welcome to come along every Thursday evening 7-9pm.
